A vintage Marzi & Remy mustard pot made in Höhr-Grenzhausen in Germany’s Westerwald pottery region. The small stoneware jar is finished in the classic gray salt glaze with cobalt blue decoration associated with Westerwald ceramics. The body features bold hand-applied scrolling cobalt motifs and small lug handle. The underside is impressed with the M&R shield mark for Marzi & Remy together with mold number 3051. It measures 3¼" H x 3½" W with lid.
