Vintage Gien France Green Majolica Leaf Plate "B"

A vintage Gien France majolica plate featuring a richly molded botanical leaf design in a deep emerald green glaze.

The plate is decorated with overlapping leaves radiating from the center, with detailed veining and scalloped edges that create wonderful depth and texture. A raised crosshatch border surrounds the central leaf motif and gives the piece a classic French majolica look. There is a hairline crack as well as loss to glaze.

The reverse is finished in the same green glaze and marked GIEN FRANCE. It measures 8½" D
