Vintage Gien France Green Majolica Leaf Plate "A"

A vintage Gien France majolica plate featuring a richly molded botanical leaf design in a deep emerald green glaze.

The plate is decorated with overlapping leaves radiating from the center, with detailed veining and scalloped edges that create wonderful depth and texture. A raised crosshatch border surrounds the central leaf motif and gives the piece a classic French majolica look. There are various chips and loss of glaze to be used for display. 

The reverse is finished in the same green glaze and marked GIEN FRANCE. It measures 8½" D
