Vintage French Scalloped Quatrefoil Seashell Mirror

A vintage French seashell mirror in a scalloped quatrefoil shape, handmade with layers of natural shells arranged around a small central oval mirror. The shaped backing is covered in a velour and has a handwritten inscription that appears to reference a holiday souvenir. The shellwork includes different shell shapes, sizes, and tones, with a few small colored accents that add charm and character. The piece shows age and wear consistent with a handmade vintage object. Some shells may have natural chips, old glue marks, small losses, discoloration, and surface wear. It measures 11¾" W x 10¼" H
