Vintage French Bourguignonne Rabbit Terrine Dish

A vintage French rabbit terrine by Bourguignonne, designed in the traditional form of a reclining hare. The dimensional lid is modeled with a detailed rabbit head, long ears and textured fur, all finished in a warm caramel-brown glaze.

The coordinating oval base has a smooth glazed interior and textured exterior that continues the molded fur design. Traditionally used for preparing and serving pâté or terrine, this substantial piece also makes wonderful French country kitchen décor, a distinctive serving vessel or a collectible addition to a group of figural terrines.

Marked “Bourguignonne” and numbered 4 underneath. The piece shows minor surface wear, glaze variation and manufacturing irregularities consistent with vintage pottery. Please review the photographs closely for condition. It measures 10¼"L x 6¾"W x 7"H
