Vintage 1930s French Cast Plaster Dog

A French cast plaster desk accessory dating to the 1930s, featuring a reclining sporting dog beside a black base. The piece is finished in a warm gold/bronzed paint over molded plaster, with a contrasting black-painted base. The dog is nicely modeled with long ears, textured fur, and a relaxed pose. The original finish shows age-related wear, including chips and losses to the gold paint in several areas and chipping to the black paint around the base, all consistent with age and use. It measures 7"L × 3½"W × 4"H
