Simplex French Yellow Ceramic Covered Terrine

A classic French ceramic covered pot by Simplex, finished in a warm buttery yellow glaze. This small-scale terrine  features a fitted domed lid with a knob and a practical pour notch at the rim, typical of traditional French kitchenware. Its clean, utilitarian form is both functional and charming, perfect for serving mustard, condiments, or small portions. A small chip is present at the rim, consistent with age and use. Measures approximately 4½" in diameter x 3¼" high. France, mid-20th century.
