Beautiful and timeworn antique French enamelware kitchen canister set with a blue marbled / spatter pattern and classic French labels. The set includes six canisters labeled Pâtes, Farine, Sucre, Café, Poivre, and Chicorée.
Each piece has a wonderful old French kitchen look, with blue lettering, white enamel, matching lids, and charming age-related patina. The undersides are marked with a “B B” maker’s mark and numbered by size.
Please note this set is very worn and is being sold as decorative. There is heavy enamel loss, chipping, rust, darkened areas, surface wear, and losses throughout. The Sucre canister has a large area of enamel loss / damage near the lower front. Several lids and rims have chips, exposed dark metal, rust, and rough edges. The Pâtes lid appears loose / not sitting perfectly. This set is best for display, styling, photography, or French country kitchen decor rather than food storage. The wood accessories that are shown in the photo are not included in the purchase
