French Marbled Glazed Terracotta Pitcher, Savoyard Terre Vernissée, Attributed Fauquet

A beautiful French glazed terracotta pitcher with a striking marbled jaspé glaze in warm ochre yellow, rust brown, green, and deep blue-black tones. The piece has a softly rounded body, applied handle, small pouring spout, and wonderfully expressive glaze movement throughout.

This type of rustic glazed earthenware is associated with traditional French regional pottery, particularly Savoyard / Haute-Savoie production. The decoration and palette are reminiscent of pieces from the Poterie Fauquet of Bonneville, though the piece is unmarked and therefore offered as attributed to / in the style of rather than definitively signed. It measures 6⅜"H x 6" x 3½"D
