This vibrant hand-worked crewel embroidery panel, mounted and framed for display, features a richly detailed flowering tree with two birds and a variety of unique, stylized blooms, each stitched in warm, earthy tones on an ecru ground. No two elements repeat, lending a whimsical and organic rhythm to the composition. Acquired from the estate of a New York City antiques dealer, this tall piece measures 14" wide and almost three feet in height (34½")—perfect for adding a vertical statement to a sitting room, hallway, or layered gallery wall. Please note: there is some wear to the frame, minor loss of stitching, and discoloration to the ground fabric, all consistent with age and part of its enduring charm.
