An antique Wedgwood pedestal compote / tazza, decorated in the Aesthetic Movement style with an intricate black floral border accented in soft pink, red and ochre.

The low pedestal form has a wonderfully architectural profile, while alternating floral panels and fine geometric decoration create a striking late Victorian design. The underside is impressed WEDGWOOD and carries the hand-painted pattern number A2031.
