A beautifully detailed antique French plate from the “Sylva” series by U&C Sarreguemines, featuring a serene woodland scene with ducks by the water, birds in flight, and delicate foliage. Rendered in classic blue transferware on creamy white faience. The composition is finely drawn with lovely movement and depth, making it equally striking displayed on a wall or used as part of a collected table. Marked on the underside “Sylva U&C Sarreguemines.” and it measures 9½"D.
