An antique French pottery pitcher attributed to the Savoie region of the French Alps, an area celebrated for its colorful rustic earthenware and distinctive jaspé decoration.
The pitcher has a warm butter-yellow glazed ground decorated by hand with vertical rows of rust-red dots alternating with dark brown wavy slip-trailed lines. Horizontal incised bands around the shoulder add another layer of traditional folk decoration. 8⅞"H x 6"D
