The richly molded surface is finished in deep green, olive, ochre, brown, soft blue-green and creamy white glazes, giving the piece wonderful depth and texture. The scalloped edge follows the organic leaf-and-flower design, while the reverse is glazed in a pale celadon tone and bears a hand-painted number. It measures 8½"D
