This large round platter features a finely detailed blue transferware hunting scene with a hound standing beneath a large tree, while a smaller horseback hunting scene appears in the distance. The reverse is marked “Veneur – Longchamp” beneath a hunting horn motif.
The larger 12½" size makes this especially attractive as a decorative wall plate or charger.The soft blue decoration, creamy white ground, and extensive age-related crazing give the piece wonderful antique character.
