Antique French Blue & White Faience Plate

An antique French blue and white faience plate featuring a bold central floral medallion surrounded by a repeating stenciled border.

The plate has a warm cream-colored ground with cobalt and soft blue decoration, giving it a beautifully timeworn French country appearance. The slightly irregular application of the pattern and visible wear around the rim add to its authentic antique character.

The reverse is unmarked, so the exact maker is unknown. Based on the form and decoration, it is best described as French faience, likely late 19th to early 20th century. It measures 8¼" D
