An antique rectangular wall mirror with a faux bamboo wood frame, likely dating to the late 19th or early 20th century.
The frame is constructed to imitate bamboo, with turned nodes, projecting corner ends, and a warm aged wood finish. The mirror plate shows substantial natural age-related deterioration, including silver loss, foxing, spotting and clouding, giving it a wonderfully timeworn appearance.
The reverse retains an old dark backing board with visible wear and losses, along with an aged metal chain for hanging. it measures 13" x13"
