A vintage coastal display featuring a miniature sailing ship model marked “Simon Bolivar”, arranged inside an old American glass battery jar with a collection of shells and sea specimens. The clear rectangular glass case has a wonderful utilitarian shape, thick molded rim, and subtle age-related waviness, giving the piece a collected cabinet-of-curiosities feel.
A great decorative accent for coastal interiors, nautical styling, a shelf vignette, beach house, study, curiosity cabinet, or shop display. The ship and shells are loose/arranged inside the glass jar and can be styled as desired.
