Silver Plated Art Deco Shell

A vintage silver-plated hotel shell dish, made by Wiskemann (Belgium) for the Beau Rivage Hotel in Chamonix, France. Dating from the 1920s-30s, this elegant small serving dish features the Wiskemann hallmark and hotel monogram stamp. Originally used for luxury table service during the golden age of Alpine tourism. A beautiful collectible piece of European hotel silver with historical charm. Measures approximately 4⅞" long x 3⅞" wide. Excellent vintage condition with light age patina.
