French Art Deco Tasseled Devotional Wall Plaque

Elegant French devotional wall plaque from the Art Deco period, c.1920–1935. Featuring two beautifully detailed silvered metal medallions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Virgin Mary, mounted on an oval onyx or alabaster stone backing. Signed by French medalist ESCUDÉ, with the artist’s EC monogram. Retains its original silk cord and tassels for hanging. A refined religious object with high decorative and collectible appeal.
