Elegant antique French faience tureen by Faïencerie de Gien, marked with the Médailles d'Or honor mark, referencing Gien's awarded status at 19th-century expositions. The white glazed body features a refined footed base, ornate molded fruit and leaf side handles, and a beautifully sculpted lid finial resembling a wrapped vine. Measuring 11 inches tall and 8½ inches in diameter, this large, lidded piece showcases Gien's mastery of both form and decorative craftsmanship. Natural glaze crazing and minor wear are present, adding to its authentic antique charm. A stunning centerpiece for French country kitchens, collectors of Gien, or dinnerware displays.
